GCK Motorsport works on advancing and integrating performance-driven greener technology to support the future of motorsport competitions in cross-country rallying and rallycross.
Its cross-country commitment will see GCK develop the first hybrid vehicle powered by both battery and hydrogen specific to the demands of long-distance rallying.

Having raced the Dakar 10 times between 2005 and 2016, founder Guerlain Chicherit has made no secret of his passion for returning to race what is known as the most arduous cross-country event in the world. This underpinned GCK’s decision to use the Dakar Rally as the perfect playground to showcase, test and develop its cross-country programme.

GCK Motorsport joined the Dakar Rally in 2021 at its NEOM stage to present the GCK e- Blast 1, the first step in its multi-year project.
The team will return to Dakar in 2022 running 2 programmes: Guerlain Chicherit will pilot a 340bhp strong, off-road beast powered by bioethanol, the GCK Thunder, as part of a multi-
year test programme of drivers, car components and team towards achieving the Group’s vision.

In parallel, GCK will also showcase the first developments on its e-Blast H2 project, with a view to be fully race-ready in 2023 - 2024.
